Celia Deane-Drummond and Theistic Evolution

Dr. Deane-Drummond holds PhDs in plant physiology and theology, and has written several books on the topic of evolution and Christianity.
In September of 2008, she made a couple of presentations at Redeemer University College showing how she believes it is possible to relate Christ and evolution. (She believes evolution of microbes to man is a fact, therefore, a Christian needs to re-evaluate their understanding of redemption in light of this fact)
Unfortunately her mind is closed when it comes to discussing the pro's and con's of Darwinian evolution.
No wonder!!! Her career is based on evolution being a fact. Should she decide to question that belief, she might as well give up on years of work.

Truth is truth. Evolution is true. The difference between you and her is that she will be honest. Her work along with every biologists work in evolution is indeed fruitful. Creation "science" is nothing but twisting the evidence or even outright ignoring it and routing back to assumed conclusions. I think what scares you is that you know that Dr. Deane is an honest woman. These people if they had evidence for creationism they would freely admit it, because they have no bias against God. However, you have a bias towards your assumed conclusion. There is no conspiracy in science. The sooner you swallow your pride, the better for you and your students. If creationism was evident, you creationists wouldn't have to make any scientific or mental gymnastics to prove it. The "evolutionist terms" are synonymous with objective scientific standards used in all sciences, accept for creation pseudoscience where the standards are wholly subjective. It would be a sin in any faith to hold a grudge to those who have the truth or accuse falsehood with nothing to back it up.

Well this hasn't seen the light of day for a few years. Glad you found it and made a comment.
Sorry you feel so negative against creationism. If you didn't then maybe you would be able to see past your prejudices to see what I am saying.
No where do I take creationist literature or comments to weave into my arguments against evolution. ALL the facts and comments I report on are taken from evolutionist's literature. Maybe if you knew what evolutionists know you would not be too fast to call evolution true.
